Imagine a world where the Pokémon games were never created. Terrifying, I know, but stay with me. Now imagine that instead there's an extremely rare genetic condition known simply as the Hybrid Syndrome, so named because those affected by it appear a hybrid of animal and human traits. In other words, Pokémon DO exist within the population, but they stand on two paws and think, act, and speak just like any other human. Ignem Progressionis Infinitum details the adventures of a human-turned-Ninetales-hybrid Eon by another Ninetales' curse, especially his new life within a Hybrid-only academy where he trains and battles other hybrids to prepare for the ever-looming threat of the Plasmid Foundation.

Cast of Main Characters

 

Eon Kelvin: The main protagonist. Born a human, an accident caused him to be transformed into a Ninetales hybrid. He now attends a hybrid-only academy to get a hang of his new powers and abilities, along with the new life he's been handed.

 

Kyu Sol: A Ninetales hybrid that helped start off the story, running into Eon and causing the shift of events that would turn him from human to hybrid. She eventually becomes his mentor and helps him to adjust to his new life.

 

Matthew Feli: A genius Mew hybrid that attends Johiko Darck's Hybrid Academy, and attends classes with Kyu. He becomes close friends with Eon, when Eon comes to the academy.

 

Johiko Darck: A Lugia hybrid, he used all his resources to create and put together a school for hybrids to attend safely. The safety and well-being of his students are his greatest priority, and he hopes to provide the safetest environment for them to live in as they learn.

 

Colress Jarred: A brilliant scientist with a highly intelligent mind, he is the founder of the Plasmid Foundation, where experiments come at a great cost to hybrids.
